Super Food: Bananas

Bananas are high in fibre, vitamins B6 and C, potassium, manganese, are a good source of riboflavin, folate, magnesium, copper, and they contain antioxidant phenols; making them an invaluable snack on-the-go, all year round (apart from their skins). For women on their monthly, a banana a day will help ease PMS symptoms, thereby assisting in the maintenance of irritable moods and sugar cravings which are a result of a lack of vitamin B6 in the body during the menstrual cycle.
